My lifelong interest in woodworking began in high school where some of my initial projects included a grandfather clock and a gun cabinet. A bit later in life, after purchasing a lathe for a few home projects, my interest in woodworking re-emerged. Now, I am thrilled to be able to share my functional lifestyle pieces with all of you.

Process

Functionality and tradition are the basis of all my designs. Many of the game products created at Slab City Wood Works have stood the test of time...just as I hope my creations will become your favorite family heirlooms.

Our Products

Due to the natural and unique rings of each tree, it is impossible to create to identical pieces. While we can do our best to match wood color as best as possible, there is no guarantee with the natural features of the wood grain. Which is a part of what makes our products so charming and one of a kind.

All of our products are created from the finest quality hardwoods including: Curly Cherry, Curly Maple, Birds Eye Maple, Black Walnut, Paddock, Brazilian Walnut, Purple Heart, Zebra Wood, Tiger Wood, Olive, Black & White Ivory, Osage, Yellow Heart, Bloodwood and a few others.
